The Golden Acre relay is held unsurprisingly in Golden Acre park some time in July. Its organised by Abbey runners and follows a meandering off road route of around 2.75 miles. The relay is completed in teams of three each runner a circuit of the course. Teams from all over the region attend and a wide variety of abilities take park.
